60. Your Legacy
If you could watch your funeral and everyone who you ever interacted with was there.
Friends, family, coworkers, employees, patients, teammates, opponents, etc., and they all were honest about how you had impacted their lives.
What would they say?
Would they talk about volume and collections?
Or would they talk about your character, ethics, and how you made them feel good or bad?
I am not saying collection and volume are not important.
Of course, collection and volume are important, just not everything.
Unfortunately, too many docs make those results their god and sacrifice their ethics and morality to get there.
It’s not necessary, and in the long run, that approach will lead to unhappiness and regret.
Is your character getting stronger?
If not, maybe it’s time to rethink your approach to achieving results.
