65. Slow Down Your ROF

When you have given 1,000's of ROF's, it is often easy to go on autopilot.

You have explained this so many times you fly through the report.

The problem with rushing through is the patient feels rushed and like they haven't been heard, which will reduce rapport and trust.

The same way your hands need to be slow for palpating and adjusting, your words need to be slow at the ROF, creating the illusion where less time feels like more time to the patient.

Talking slowly can make a 7-minute ROF feel thorough, and talking quickly can make a 30-minute ROF feel rushed.
